O mundo contemporâneo oferece inúmeras possibilidades de técnicas, materiais e linguagens para o fazer artístico. Assim, é notável a transdisciplinaridade nas instituições de ensino de arte, as quais têm abrangido um número cada vez maior de linguagens e mídias. Este trabalho foi desenvolvido a partir de uma forma de arte cujo tema central é o “encontro” entre observador e obras, as quais envolvem o receptor e convocam sua experiência corporal como condição de realização da obra. “Neobuia Tabepomoea” é uma instalação que abriga diferentes mídias, entre elas: pinturas, desenhos, colagens e objetos tridimensionais. Estas foram englobadas em uma instalação exibida em uma sala da galeria 13 do Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo.

Esta pesquisa se desenvolveu a partir de experimentações: há a necessidade de uma profunda investigação prática de uma multiplicidade de materiais e de suas potências. O título “Neobuia Tabepomoea”, faz uma analogia à forma de estruturar o nome científico dos seres vivos. Um nome inventado para uma realidade inventada na forma de uma instalação, a qual conta com uma abundância de elementos visuais e táteis, permitindo ao visitante uma experiência imersiva.

Universo, ou selva de materiais sintéticos que se assemelham a natureza e suas infinitas espécies, explosão de cores e diferentes materiais, texturas que atraem o toque: tecidos lisos, perfurados, rugosos, macios. Pesquisa de materiais para explorar as texturas mais diversificadas e estudar diferentes percepções sensoriais: caos visual, abundância de informações traduzidas por imagens em diferentes linguagens.

Apresento reinterpretações de imagens colhidas na internet na composição da maioria dos trabalhos. Não há linearidade no processo, o qual se desenvolve em camadas que retrocedem e avançam múltiplas vezes. A construção de uma colagem digital em um programa de edição de imagens passa a acontecer da mesma forma no espaço físico, através de estruturas presentes na instalação. Estas servem como suporte para alguns elementos, como objetos tridimensionais e tecidos que acabam virando filtros dentro do espaço. Assim, brinco com essa tensão entre estados de ser, obras que parecem mudar do físico para o digital, ou do digital para o físico.

The contemporary world offers countless possibilities of techniques, materials and languages for artistic making. Thus, the transdisciplinarity in art education institutions is remarkable, which have covered an increasing number of languages and media. This work was developed from a form of art whose central theme is the “encounter” between the observer and the works, which involve the receiver and summon his bodily experience as a condition for the realization of the work. “Neobuia Tabepomoea” is an installation that houses different media, including: paintings, drawings, collages and three-dimensional objects. These were included in an installation exhibited in a room in gallery 13 of the Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo.


This research was developed based on experimentation: there is a need for a deep practical investigation of a multiplicity of materials and their powers. The title “Neobuia Tabepomoea”, makes an analogy to the way of structuring the scientific name of living beings. A name invented for a reality invented in the form of an installation, which has an abundance of visual and tactile elements, allowing the visitor an immersive experience.


Universe, or jungle of synthetic materials that resemble nature and its infinite species, explosion of colors and different materials, textures that attract the touch: smooth, perforated, rough, soft fabrics. Research of materials to explore the most diversified textures and study different sensory perceptions: visual chaos, abundance of information translated by images in different languages.


I present reinterpretations of images taken from the internet in the composition of most of the works. There is no linearity in the process, which develops in layers that rewind and advance multiple times. The construction of a digital collage in an image editing program happens in the same way in the physical space, through structures present in the installation. These serve as support for some elements, such as three-dimensional objects and fabrics that end up becoming filters within the space. So, I play with this tension between states of being, works that seem to change from the physical to the digital, or from the digital to the physical.
